3 Year Certificate issued upon successful completion for Gen4 and previous GLOCK pistols, excluding the G18 Select Fire models.

GLOCK OPERATOR COURSE

General Information

Cost: $400 U.S. per Student

Length: 16 Hours (2 Days)

Course Objectives

This training course is designed and intended for public safety professionals who have successfully completed a basic pistol course and want to improve their skills. This course is not recommended for those who have not attended official training programs. This course is a dynamic shooting course that requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, shoot on the move, move into and recover quickly from kneeling and prone positions. This course will cover the needs of the Operator regardless of the optics configuration currently employed. Both iron sights and MOS systems will be covered within the curriculum to ensure that every shooter can have a strong baseline competency in the delivered content areas. This allows the student to freely employ the learned concepts without hesitation and in anticipation of transitioning to/from different optics configurations.

Course Objectives

This course is designed to develop law enforcement and military firearms instructors to teach, diagnose, and coach shooters using principle -based fundamentals. Participants will refine their own performance shooting skills while mastering the coaching methods needed to transfer those skills effectively to others. This course is continuing education for current LE and military firearms instructors that is designed to expand the knowledge of students to help them become more proficient as a professional LE/MIL firearms instructor. This course will also provide the student with the oppurtunity to enhance their ability with GLOCK pistols that are equipped with optics or iron sights. The students will be given a firearms related topic and will be expected to prepare and lead a teach-back session on the last training day.

This course is designed to assist Law Enforcement and Military Firearms Instructors with instructing shooters on the use of the GLOCK pistol with Red Dot Optics as well as Iron Sights (2.5 Days – 20 Hours). This course is a dynamic shooting course that requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, shoot on the move, move into and recover quickly from the kneeling and prone positions. This course is continuing education for current LE and Military Firearms Instructors. This course will cover the needs of the Operator regardless of the optics configuration currently employed. Learn everything you will need to begin your journey in the world of pistol marksmanship. This training is designed and intended for entry level individuals who are seeking professional instruction on the safe and proper use of GLOCK firearms. GLOCK will provide: - all firearms related equipment needed to safely complete the course. - receive a 1 year GLOCK Sport Shooting Foundation Membership and new member packet. To be eligible to take the GLOCK FUNDAMENTALS Course, you must meet one of the following requirements: - Provide a Statement of NO Criminal History from a Law Enforcement agency or possess a current Concealed Carry Permit from your state. - Students between the ages of 16 to 21 must have a parent or legal guardian present to attend this course.

The student will provide a quality non-collapsible, belt supported Paddle, Belt Slide or Inside the Waistband holster which covers the trigger and trigger guard. Individuals with equipment deemed unsafe by the GLOCK Instructor will not be allowed to participate in the course.

A belt capable of supporting the weight of the holster, pistol, and magazines.

Magazine carrier with or without flaps, capable of carrying two magazines.

Student provides minimum of 3 magazines for 15 rounds or more capacity.

Minimum of 5 Magazines for 10 round or less magazine capacity.

The student will provide a safe cover garment, such as button down shirts, pullover shirts, jackets, windbreakers, etc. No cover garments with excess buckles and draw strings that may create unsafe firearms manipulation.

Provide 1000 rounds of factory ammunition for proper caliber.
